remote tiny body
no longer alone
with its moons
at the fringe
of existence
redeemed of its
bleak isolation
its all too abrupt
harsh expulsion
from heaven’s
own glossaries
now do we see
that small face
with its striking
dissimilar features
its character
etched by diverse
rock and ice
of terrains
that enframe an
astonishing wide
and pure smoothness
we know as its heart
I wonder what will become of it as the universe contracts? Will it come alive?

How sad they no longer consider Pluto part of us, yet Pluto still shows its love for the universe. Well said, Paul 🙂

Indeed! Who knows, he might be the “tail that wags the dog” of our solar system.
