  1. I focused on black and white photography in the late seventies, early eighties. It takes a little twist of perception to see a scene in b&w before shooting, but it didn’t take long to acquire that ability. With less time ahead each year, and so many things left to do, I don’t know that I’ll get back to that. One of my favorite photos of my father is a black and white I took, but then another favorite is a simple b&w snapshot of him from the fifties. This is so true about colors distracting ones eye from the finer details.
