  1. My dad, when he was a teenager sang on the street corner with his friends long before the Jersey Boys. He was the one who did the falsetto like Frankie Valle and had a ball – so many things our children miss.

  2. I was a little too young in the 1950’s to get a full handle yet your wonderful poem still sits pretty well for the mid-late 60’s. I recall a thing called The Wimpy Bar and the clubs, pubs and street corners we hung out all nearby. To invoke such memories is a good thing.

  3. Wonderful poem and pictures but so different from images of the 50’s from my high school and college days in the South. I remember your images from the movies so I wasn’t completely behind the times.
