  1. Paul, I used the old meaning of the word prosaic, when in reality, this work of poetry/prose is not at all prosaic but, I prefer the Roman/Latin meaning pre 1800’s. It meant beautiful prose. I swear I am from an early time in history.

  2. Sometimes a 0-0 draw provokes a side to play with a little more finesse next time around. The question, from the outside looking in, is ‘which team that will be be?’ Thought provoking stuff in the game of Western/US politics. Yours, The Common Man – who can but sit in the stands and watch. A clever poem indeed.
