  1. I just traveled down this road with you (while reading), and then thought … hmm, I had already been on that road (a year+ ago), and in many ways, still am.
    While I, at times, wish my journey was a bit different, it’s nice to have the company. Be it you, or another, this so eloquently and precisely detailed a vivid image existing in life. Wonderful Paul, as always.

  2. So powerful, Paul. “Afflicting, addicting” so perfect. I am so sorry you live with this, Paul. The doctors, not all of them but enough of them, are criminal. I would want to be in their shoes and have the sleepless nights they must have, not from an “opioid moon” but from a bad conscience.
